Our Christmas Eve service is a highlight of the Christmas season for many in our congregation. It features traditional carols, candlelight and the good news of the birth of Christ!

At 9pm, it is late enough to go to family Christmas Eve get-togethers before hand, but also early enough to get home and prepare for Christmas morning the next day.

Join us on the west edge of Hagerstown at 5352 N. Brick Church Road, Hagerstown, IN.

The service is a combination of both the Nettle Creek and White Branch Churches of the Brethren.

Christmas Q and A

Here are some answers to common Christmas questions.

We build our Christmas Eve service around three main elements: Carols, Candles and Christ. We sing traditional songs and carols, by candlelight, ending with making a circle and singing "Silent Night" while holding a candle. Christ is at center of everything as Christmas is really about "Christ!" We always have a message of the good news of hope, love, joy and peace in Christ!

Wear whatever makes you comfortable for Christmas Eve. Some people come very casual, others dress up a little for the special occasion.

Children are very welcome for our Christmas Eve Service! We plan the service for the whole family. There will be a special children's story near the beginning of worship, then the children will sit with the family for the rest of the service. If the children need to move or be changed, you can take them upstairs to a children's room. We expect children to be a bit exctied on Christmas Eve and maybe a bit tired too, after 9pm.

You are welcome here...we are all at different places in our lives and faith journeys. Come with an open mind and an open heart. See if the message of Christ and the people of the Church are connecting with you. If so, we would love to see you back again in January!
